HOME TEAM COASTS OVER VISITORS 15-6 IN THE FIRST GAME 

Appell's team showed great offense and defense as they easily defeated

Rosengard's visitor team. Appell helped himself gain the W by homering 

in the 5th and 6th and doubling in the 2nd finishing up 4/4 with 4 RBI. 

Schmerler went 3/4, Vernick 3/5 with 3 RBI, Indek with 2/5 with 2 RBI. Indek 

turned 2 DP (6-6-3) with his debut at SS. The golden glove infield made 

10 of 21 outs. Schmerler at 3b,Indek SS, Honigman 2B, Mack 1B. 

In a losing cause Naranjo went 3/4 3 RBI, Holzwasser 2/3, Josh Geller 2/3. 

Josh turned a great DP 4-4-3 in the 5th. Here is the line.

JOE BALENTO BREAKS UP APPELL'S BID FOR SHUT OUT WITH HOMER IN BOTTOM OF 5TH 

IN 2ND GAME 

In a shortened game going 5 innings Appell going for his 2nd W this morning 

had great control and throwing mainly fastballs lost his bid for a shut out 

in the last frame as Joe Balento connected for a 2 run homer in deep right. 

Honigman homered for Appell's visitors. Here is the line.
