Connor's Team A takes a 2-0 lead at Zinsser .
Sunday October 12,2003:In the 2nd World Series contest Connor's Team out slugged
hewes's Team b and won easily 16-3. Holzwaser pitched a strong game pitching a 9 hitteras the home team slugged 19 hits, 16 runs, and played errorless ball. The losers committed 5 errors, 3 in the nine run first and after one inning the game was out of reach.Rosengard lost the game and gave up 9 earned runs. Inserro and Palma led the offense with a solo homer in the 5th  ,scoring 5 runs and overall going 3 for 5for Inserro and Palma 4 for 5..Rosengard was wild walking 6 batters in 8 innings and striking out 2  while holzwasser walked 3 nd struck out 1. The weather conditions worsened midway and by the 7th rain was very steady and the game was called after the top of the 8th. I got some Video of the game and we went to Dobbs for Pizza to dry out and  chartacterize a bit. Hewes  is still hopeful with the return of the Liebowitz,Kotik.Appell.Martinez,Brill and Nawaz. hopefully more of team A will be there next week. One rule surfaced in the game; if someone goes out for a pinch runner he can't return to the game.So if you get on run with pain.here is the line.

There was a lot of humor and good feelings as we let off some tension after a competitive World series game 1. here is the line

The game was close as the Jews came within 1  7-6 scoring 4 in the 6th. But in the bottom of the 6th the non Jews scored 7 off rosengard and broke the game open. Kotik singled and an error in the Of got him to 3rd and inserro sac'd him in. Hall singled and 2 rowlands walked loading the bases. Connor singled and Lang tripled  and hewes doubled and it was 14-6.Hirsch relied in the 7th and errors cost  more runs and the game ended  18-9.

Game 2:
Extra base hits on both teams ;12-8 Hewes picks up his 9th victory
Abramson and hall homer for the visitors while Connor hits 2 doubles, lang triples and holzwasser doubles for the losers.30 players
with 15 on each side. Each player sat 2 innings;Connors captain of the home team took out rosengard after 4 and he pitched the 5th and 6th .Rosengard left losing 4-1 .Connors gave up 4 in the 5th making it 9 -1.Home team came back with 2 in the 5th, 2 in the 6th.
Then rosengard pitched the 7th and was hit hard giving up 5 consecutive hits and a sac before the inning ended. I picked the defense
for the last inning and it cost me .With all the players defense was not consistent, box score does not show everything but one hit crushed the home team. robert rodriquez hit a pitch way outside the strike zone down the rightfield line, a cue shot knocking in 2 runs and then Abramson homered with 2 rbis . It is great to see a large turnout but having to constantly put in subsitutions all
game on defense can hurt bring out a pitcher to sit in a close game makes no sense. here is the line:

Game 3:Derek Martinez Wins in his FIRST start this season 13-7 in 9innings
Rosengard was literally knocked out of the game after a warm up toss in the infield beaned him as he was about to pitch the top of the 5th with the score 7-6. Connors and holzwasser pitched in relief.Visitors scored 6 in the 1st then rosengard settled down and held then for 3 innings. After the beaning connors pitched 2 shut out innings and Holzwasser gave up 6 runs with poor defense to take his first loss of the season. From what i remember martinez wearing a red sox Shirt was mixing speeds and throwing off the hitters. Its 4 days since the incident and i feel fine and the ice for 2 hours helped greatly. here is the line:
